and where am i….
Good morning Tumblr
So I’m currently in my new bed in my new house. Living the glamorous independent life…anything but. Currently typing on my wireless keyboard bc I spilled bleach all over my laptop last night and half my keys don’t work, tried to take all my keys off and broke w and l. I will be at the VCC at 1:20 Monday.Where did I leave off tumblr?? Besides the picture of studying and a lot of great reblogging… wow it was the first night of the NFL draft and I had just finished a horrible open shop experience for Litec, well that class is done now. There was a horrible paper & annoying blimp times in the Armory.
idk what happened to my typing just there. Currently playing: Awesome which sums up the rest of the semester, not literally it was mostly crap but those little bouts of laughter, fun, and food was pretty awesome. At least I got above my goal gpa of the semester: a 2.5, I got a 2.77 and I’m preventing myself from slitting my wrists. I’m putting everything on this summer’s circuits class, if I get an A, I’ll have exactly a 3. Stop judging and laughing with your 3.8s, I’m studying electrical engineering, what are you doing?
WAIT OMFG OMFG OMFG I JUST CHECKED SIS, COCO WAS CURVED TO A B OMFG I GOT A 23 ON THE FINAL AND GOT A B OMFG so average was curved up to an A, holy shit OMFG I HAVE A 3.0 currently but overall is a 2.97, went down .01 but omfg if I get an A in circuits….omfg COOP is a legit dream now omfg CALL ME MAYBE IS PLAYING AND OMG I’M DYING OF HAPPINESS OMFG . Wait do I get deans list for the semester? If this was freshman year or hs I would be crying with a 3 but now omfg I worked my ass off, sleepless nights, fights, long trips to first floor warren omfg now an A in circuits will give me a 3.11!!!!!!!! It’s okay that I’m taking 4 ridiculously hard class and one psychology class where I have to do legit work in the fall but omfg that gpa doesn’t matter when I’m applying to co-ops omfg okay game face on circuits you are going down. I need to legit do work and read that book everyday.
back to recapping, Grey’s anatomy is still just as sad but I was more upset with the second to last episode then the finale. I’m not emotionally attached to Sloan and Lexie because I still believe Sloan is meant for Addison. Christina on the other hand can’t leave Hunt and no Meredith I love your dream house and you are going to live in it!! Can anything in the Chief’s life go right? He just wanted to have a goodbye dinner to the residents and give some words of wisdom and only 3 people showed up.
Watching the flintstones on my tv, have grooveshark playing my CASA bbq playlist and have nbc blasting downstairs. I can’t deal with the silence especially in an empty house in a strange neighborhood where you hear nothing, not even a car go by. I miss honking, garbage trucks, sirens. Coming from NYC, its difficult to sleep in silence and in this house where a dropping luggage makes me screech. (currently playing: the motto)
I’m not dealing with how the tv in this house doesn’t have SoapNet, how the fuck am I suppose to watch All My Children, I need to now find tv to watch at night. I think I will go crazy soon, going from 3hrs of amc a night to nothing. It was getting to the good part man come on. So my 2am tv was Real Housewives of Atlanta because I need to catch up on my BRAVO, 2 years without this channel.
Cleaning of this house is annoying. Running up flights of stairs, scratching, cuts, bruises, mosquito bites. I’ve cleared the living room and the dinning table for necessary pong with the trick chandelier which I actually got one in off the chandelier. Then spent most of the night clearing my room, gave up at 1am after a depressing Greys, showered and fell asleep at 3am. My bed isn’t comfortable and the silence is not friendly. Woke at 5am and kept waking every hour until finally decided to just get out the computer.
Back to the recapping. The rest of that week was consumed by bubble tea, relaying for LIFE, some scalping, the creation of the addiction to the song CALL ME MAYBE. There was a stroll exhibition at what could be the greatest cultural cook-off ever followed by the GREATEST 6 minute party of my life. It ain’t a real party without SHPE, LUL, NSBE and ME! Watched the sunrise.
There was crunch time with a lot of work, labs, keys to the new house which ended up in the cracks in front of the JEC. Many shopping trips to provide donuts and pizza to the campus curtsey of the new Independent Council with me as President.
With all the running around and stressing there was still time for unlimited bbqs, laughter, fun and pigging out.
Cinco de Cuatro was annoying blimp time, moving shit to the new house the wrong way and fun at the EE department mixer along with WNDS bbq, my bike folds up? free pizza and more paper writing.
Cinco de Mayo was great with bowling, greek food, starbucks, and THE KENTUCKY DERBY!!!!! (currently playing rack city) Today is the Preakness, the second race of the triple crown in Baltimore with its traditional drink being a black-eyed susan:
old navy where is my $1 flip flop day? oh no big ass mosquito filled of my blood flying by. I have a mosquito bite on my eyebrow fuck this shit.
My bed is annoying. One being these bed sheets are from my childhood and there is no elastic on the fitted sheets. My mum is asking me to wait until she comes so she can pick out the right sheets. I know how to pick out 400 thread count sheets at Macys. I’m thinking Martha Stewart this time over Ralph Lauren but we’ll see.2 the plastic smell of the mattress cover is getting to me.
From Cinco DE Mayo there was a SWE celebration aka lets honor the e-board for 2hrs and give you a really nice parting gift, blimp time and a shit load of report writing. That was finally completed at 4pm on May 8, oh ya there is a post in my draft never posted from that day. Its me alone in LOW crying, tired, and wet from the rain. From there was Spring Fling a very sad event with blow up things and bad root beer floats. There was the last Terra Cafe and the engineering bbq aka where the entire ee department shows up. Great shopping trip to get everything CASA related and there was this Puka paper that needed to get done, my extra credit paper didn’t matter bc all I got was an A-
There was a day of moving and cleaning. Evelyn’s cafe and an interesting Lighting research opportunity. CASA bbq filled of good food and too many pictures. Blitman trip full of narration and shenanigans.
Midnight birthday surprise full of sesame chicken, yellow cake, RUFFLES, toilet paper and cookie factory cookies. 2am fire alarm started this amazing 20th Birthday. I still don’t like saying: I’m 20. I was complaining the other day on having too much responsibility and only being 18, I’ll always be a kid at heart.Just turned on Country Girl again.
Dark Shadows why are you such a weird movie? Seriously, a total wtf is going on.
Cheesecake factory you are my friend and I love you.
Today concludes my Birthday week. My dad is coming up to help me clean but all the heavy lifting I’ve already done and my room is under control so I’ll probably put him on kitchen duty. Greek food is coming up along with a car load of stuff…o dear lord.
May 13-18 was filled of birthdays, moving, cleaning, packing, pigging out, 4am bed times, oh and a little studying which did me no good.
Follies won the Drama League Award for best musical revival. I’m really not liking this LA production. First of all, the lack of Bernadette Peters is apparent. Second, they gave Elaine Paige a ghost for her “I’m still here” I don’t know how to feel about it because all the other numbers have their ghost present but I’m still here has never been done with a ghost. She’s reminiscing about this song that she could never portray sad because she was young and beautiful but now it has so much meaning so how can your ghost be portraying the song in the background. Is she doing it humorously or trying to be sad, it makes no sense.
How to Succeed with Nick Jonas and Beau Bridges closes tomorrow.
I miss dancing. This house is too dirty to dance around.
Okay this was a nice break but back to cleaning.
Now here are the lyrics to my current favorite song courtesy of the ladies of SWE:
Shake it for the young bucks sittin’ in the honky-tonks
For the rednecks rockin’ ‘til the break of dawn
For the DJ spinnin’ that country song
Come on, come on, come on
Shake it for the birds, shake it for the bees
Shake it for the catfish swimming down deep in the creek
For the crickets and the critters and the squirrels
Shake it to the moon, shake it for me girl, aww
Country girl, shake it for me girl,
Shake it for me girl, shake it for me
Country girl, shake it for me girl,
Shake it for me girl, shake it for me
Summer 2012 don’t let me down. I’m looking for better food, laughter, healthier life, good grades, and a little fun.
